DEVELOPMENT HISTORY
2004
In October, HOWO heavy truck rolled off the line, helping the domestic heavy truck technology climb to a new level. At present, HOWO truck has become the largest single brand sales model in China's heavy truck industry.
2003
In June, SINOTRUK signed a contract with Volvo on the heavy truck JV; In July, the JV was established.
2002
InIn August, the largest HDT axle production base in China was built. In October, Steyr King HDT was launched on the basis of Steyr HDT, thus making new breakthroughs in Steyr products.
1985
The first Steyr truck produced locally in China rolled off the line.
1983
SINOTRUK introduced Steyr heavy vehicle manufacturing technology from Austria.
1978
SINOTRUK assembled Roman trucks in SKD mode. In the more than ten years till 1991, it produced over 8,000 Roman vehicles.
